Our Mission & About Us

People are the magic ingredient behind Hispanic art. Passion is what ignites and drives us at Hispanic Arts Theatre. We’re a group of multi-cultural individuals who craft plays in San Diego and bring other cultural events together.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (# 33-0938941) Hispanic Arts Theatre was created with the goal in mind to promote Hispanic art and foster cross-cultural understanding in our community. Through the sharing of the arts this will result in a greater appreciation and understanding of the common values among cultures and will also provide educational opportunities for the community.

Hispanic Arts Theatre enriches the community by offering unique, multi-cultural productions that reflect our common values. Our performances foster cross-cultural and cross-generational understanding. The organization aspires to cross not just cultural lines but generational ones as well. Ticket prices are set so that a family trip to plays in San Diego are an affordable, fun and meaningful experience together.

Being a town with a rich professional theatrical tradition, San Diego is the perfect launch pad for the unique vision and passion of Hispanic Arts Theatre. We hope you can join us to experience the wonderful Hispanic art we present here in San Diego county.
